Children's Ministries

Below you will see the various options we give our families to love, grow and serve with their children.  Children and Youth ministries have always been important to Carolina Memorial because we know we have to teach the next generation what has been taught to us as commanded in Scripture.  There are many more things that we do with our children than are listed below such as Easter and Christmas parties, summer camp, Vacation Bible School and many more activities throughout the summer thanks to a very dedicated and hard-working volunteer staff.

  • Sunday School/Bible Study

Sunday mornings at 9:15 am, The Gospel Project  takes kids, birth - 6th grade, on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture.  Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed.  It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything.

  • TeamKIDS

Our TeamKIDS program  features Bible memory games, application of Bible truths, engaging missions videos and activities and fun-activity based learning all aimed at helping your child grow to be more like Jesus.  This if offered on Sunday evenings at 5:45 pm for grades 1-6.

  • Bible Drills

If your child loves a challenge, then Bible Drills is just the thing you have been looking for.  This group meets from September through March on Sunday evenings. Third graders will learn their books of the Bible so they will have that already under their belts when they enter the 4th - 6th grade level drill.  Your child will memorize 25 verses of Scripture and be able to recall those verses by reference or completing a verse. They will also know the names and location of the 66 books of the Bible and learn the names, references and locations of 10 key passages.

  • Royal Ambassadors

Royal Ambassadors (RAs) is a Bible-centered, church-based, Southern Baptist missions education organization for boys in grades 1-6.  RAs are representatives of Christ the King bringing good news of salvation to people everywhere.  RAs learn about the world, pray for the world, and learn how they can be used to tell others about God's Son, Jesus.  Our RAs meet each Wednesday night at 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

  • Girls in Action/G.E.M.S.

Girls in Action (GAs) and GEMS (Girls everywhere meeting the Savior) is our unique blend of two great mission-minded organizations designed to help girls in grades 1-6 come to faith in Christ as Savior, while making missions an important part of their daily lives.  They learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle while they participate in Bible study, missions projects and engaging activities.  Each month they "travel" to various places around the world when they learn about the work of missionaries.  This group meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

  • Mission Friends (Preschool)

Preschool is an exciting time in children's lives, where they rapidly grow to understand the world around them.  It is a great time to begin teaching them about who God is and how they fit in.  Mission Friends provides the building blocks of faith to preschoolers and raises a basic awareness of God's love for all people.  A missions heart will be developed as they grow to know God and the missions message of the Bible.  This awesome group meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 - 8:00 pm.
